ONE DECISION HAS CHANGED EVERYTHING
My family is not like most families; the average family has a mom, a dad, maybe a brother or sister. I have all that, but when I was about 15 years old my parents told me something that changed my life forever. I found out that the woman who I call “mom” was not my biological mother. When I was a child my biological mother was not well, and my parents had to be separated. Because my parents came from a very traditional family my grandparents wanted my father to remarry, because being a single father of two little girls was not considered very respectable in our culture nor was it an easy task.
