Manish's Essay

Growing up I would hear and see many stories on the news about how poor people get by in America. The poor people in America can range from maybe making less than $30,000 a year to living on the street; there were a lot of different classifications for how someone could be poor. My family has always been well off because both of my parents were educated as children and have received college degrees. I personally never had to experience or even begin to imagine what life in poverty is like.
