Shawn's

At exactly five o’ clock in the morning, there is the loud sound of the alarm clock. Tired as she can be, Auntie wakes up and realizes it’s just another ordinary, hardworking day. It is her regular routine on the weekdays, once she gets herself ready, to make sure her kids are up and ready also. She has a sense of urgency. It would take her approximately two minutes to dress up and get ready to catch the bus. That is because she has prepared everything to wear the night before. As for breakfast, she has no other choice but to skip it. Her job has become so serious for her because she is practically financially responsible for her children: two sons and two daughters. Auntie doesn’t mind working for a job that pays minimum wage; however, it kills her inside how she struggles physically and mentally to survive. She can only depend on herself, for she is a single mother. She has had that responsibility for two years, and, as a result, she is numb to it. The life of a dedicated mother dwells under more ambition than the world can expect.
